As workplace information grows across documents, emails, meetings, presentations, and data files, professionals need practical ways to manage that information without losing accuracy or context. AI assistants such as Microsoft Copilot can support this work when they are used with clear instructions, appropriate access controls, and human oversight.
With this focus, NetCom Learning Bangladesh recently conducted an interactive Microsoft Copilot training session for professionals at Grameenphone. The session was held at GP House in Bashundhara, Dhaka.
The training explored how Copilot can assist with common workplace activities, including drafting and refining content, summarizing lengthy information, organizing ideas, preparing reports, analysing structured data, and creating initial presentation outlines. The availability of individual capabilities may vary depending on the Copilot product, organizational licence, and system configuration.
Participants learned how effective prompts can improve the quality of AI-assisted results. By providing a clear objective, relevant context, specific instructions, and a preferred output format, professionals can receive responses that are easier to evaluate and apply within their work.

The session also considered how Copilot could support more connected workflows. Instead of using AI only for isolated tasks, participants explored ways to incorporate it into repeatable processes for research, communication, data interpretation, documentation, and planning.
The training was led by MD Imdadul Islam, Head of Training at NetCom Learning Bangladesh and an AI CERTs® Certified Trainer. Through practical demonstrations, he helped participants progress from basic prompting toward more structured applications of AI-assisted automation.
Responsible use was an essential part of the discussion. Customer, network, employee, and confidential business information should only be processed through organizationally approved systems and accounts. Copilot-generated content, calculations, and summaries must also be reviewed for accuracy, completeness, bias, and compliance before being used in professional decisions or external communication.
The participation of Grameenphone professionals reflected a strong interest in turning generative AI into practical workplace capability. Combining these tools with human expertise and responsible governance can help teams improve selected workflows while maintaining the standards required within a large telecommunications organization.
Special appreciation goes to Md. Rafiqul Islam, Jobayer Ahmed Jubo, Abdullah Al Nomaan, and Sakib Hossain for their hard work and coordination in making the session successful.
