Gaming and esports are increasingly connected to a wider digital economy that includes game development, event production, content creation, broadcasting, analytics, marketing, community management, and competitive play. For young people in Bangladesh, the growth of this ecosystem is creating new areas for learning, entrepreneurship, and professional development.
The Airtel Presents YUNet Bangladesh Gaming and Esports Summit 2025, powered by XQUBE Studio, was held on December 12, 2025, at the IDEB Auditorium in Dhaka. Organized by Youth Upskill Network–YUNet, the full-day event brought students, gamers, developers, esports professionals, academics, and technology leaders together to discuss the future of interactive media in Bangladesh.
More than 25 speakers participated in discussions examining gaming and esports from the perspective of youth employment, entrepreneurship, professional skill development, and global participation. The conversations demonstrated that the industry extends well beyond competitive players, with opportunities also emerging in game production, tournament operations, analysis, administration, design, and digital content.
One of the summit’s major attractions was the Grand Final of the Inter-University Esports Club Championship 2025. Sixteen university esports clubs competed across Valorant, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, EA Sports FC, and eFootball.

BRAC University Esports Club became the championship winner, while the Independent University, Bangladesh Esports Club finished as runner-up. The competition highlighted the growing organizational strength of university esports communities and their potential to contribute to a structured collegiate esports ecosystem in Bangladesh.
The summit also hosted the BGES Game Developer Awards in association with the IGDA Bangladesh Chapter. The awards created space to recognize locally developed games and the creative, technical, and entrepreneurial work taking place within Bangladesh’s game-development community.
These competitions and discussions offered a broader view of the gaming industry. Sustainable growth will require not only talented players and developers, but also professionals with skills in software development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, creative production, project management, communication, and responsible digital participation.
NetCom Learning Bangladesh participated in the summit as its AI Learning Partner. This involvement reflected the organization’s commitment to connecting emerging industries with practical technology education and helping young professionals develop skills relevant to changing workplace requirements.
As artificial intelligence becomes more common in game development and esports operations, responsible use remains important. AI-assisted creative assets, analytics, player-support systems, and production workflows should respect intellectual property, platform policies, data privacy, fair competition, and meaningful human oversight.
We appreciate Md. Rafiqul Islam for representing NetCom Learning Bangladesh throughout the summit and engaging with members of Bangladesh’s gaming and esports community.
The YUNet Bangladesh Gaming and Esports Summit 2025 demonstrated what becomes possible when competition, creativity, education, and industry dialogue share the same platform. Its lasting impact will depend on how effectively this energy is converted into structured learning, ethical professional practices, and sustainable career opportunities for young people.
