In the fast-moving consumer goods sector, business performance depends on how effectively teams understand customers, anticipate demand, coordinate sales activities, and respond to changing market conditions. Artificial intelligence can support these responsibilities, but its value depends on relevant data, clearly defined objectives, and professionals who know how to interpret its outputs.
To strengthen these capabilities, Square Toiletries Limited hosted two day-long training sessions facilitated by NetCom Learning Bangladesh. The engagement included two specialized programs: “AI+ Business Excellence” and “AI for Marketing and Sales.”
Square Toiletries Limited is widely recognized in Bangladesh for its portfolio of personal-care and household brands. Operating in a competitive consumer market requires coordination across marketing, sales, distribution, operations, and management—making role-specific AI capability development increasingly relevant.
The AI+ Business Excellence session explored how artificial intelligence can assist teams with information analysis, routine reporting, workflow coordination, demand planning, and the preparation of business insights. Participants examined how AI-supported processes could reduce time spent on repetitive work while keeping strategic decisions under professional oversight.

The AI for Marketing and Sales session focused on applications closer to customers and the market. Topics included customer segmentation, campaign planning, sales analysis, demand forecasting, content development, and identifying patterns within appropriately governed commercial data.
Participants also considered how AI could help prepare initial customer profiles, organize market information, develop communication ideas, and summarize sales trends. These outputs can support faster exploration, but they must be validated against reliable business data and interpreted within the realities of the market.
The sessions were led by Mohammad Mahdee Uz Zaman, Chief Strategist and Trainer at NetCom Learning Bangladesh. His professional experience includes strategic alliances and go-to-market responsibilities involving Amazon Web Services, alongside his role as a director at Washington University of Science and Technology.
MD Imdadul Islam, Head of Training & Solutions at NetCom Learning Bangladesh and an AI CERTs® Certified Trainer, also contributed insights during the engagement. Together, the facilitators connected AI concepts with practical situations relevant to FMCG professionals.
A central point of the training was that AI-generated forecasts and recommendations are not substitutes for market knowledge. Sales targets, demand plans, pricing decisions, customer strategies, and resource allocation require current internal data, commercial context, and human review before implementation.
Responsible data handling is equally important. Customer information, retailer records, sales performance, pricing, campaign plans, supplier details, and internal forecasts should only be processed through secure systems approved by the organization. Clear access controls and accountability are essential when AI is introduced into business workflows.
The two sessions created opportunities for participants to evaluate where AI could provide meaningful support across different functions. This role-based approach helps ensure that capability development remains connected to real responsibilities rather than focusing on technology in isolation.
We appreciate Square Toiletries Limited for its collaboration and the active involvement of its professionals. We also recognize Nazmul Hasan Nayon Khan, Senior Sales Specialist, for leading the engagement, with support from Shuria Akter Ethuna and Faiaz Mohammad Tiham. Peyal Sarker coordinated the training and helped ensure its smooth execution.
These sessions reflect a practical direction for workforce transformation: giving professionals the knowledge to evaluate AI carefully, apply it responsibly, and connect its use with measurable business priorities.
