The “AI for Future Leaders” seminar was held at International Standard University (ISU) on 22 May 2025, bringing together students, teachers, and faculty members to explore how artificial intelligence is influencing careers, industries, and professional development.
The seminar created an interactive learning environment where students could explore the growing importance of AI skills and understand how emerging technologies are changing expectations across different professional fields.
Amrita Malangi, Journalist at Voice of America and Mentor at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, shared perspectives on the evolving role of AI in journalism and professional growth. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Learning Consultant at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, discussed how AI can support learning, innovation, and professional development.

The session covered AI’s impact on career opportunities, AI-driven innovation, the changing skills required by the next generation of professionals, and practical applications of artificial intelligence across journalism, IT, business, and other sectors.
Students also explored different AI-related career paths and the importance of developing adaptability, critical thinking, digital fluency, and practical AI skills to prepare for future workplace opportunities.
A special highlight of the seminar was the introduction of Agent X, an AI prompting competition presented by NetCom Learning Bangladesh, powered by Microsoft, and conducted in collaboration with AI CERTs.
