Delivering health, hygiene, nutrition, and consumer products at a national scale requires close coordination across manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain, sales, marketing, distribution, and administration. Even a small improvement in how these teams manage information can create meaningful operational value.
To explore how artificial intelligence can support these responsibilities, SMC Enterprise Limited partnered with NetCom Learning Bangladesh for an in-depth session on “AI for Business.”
SMC Enterprise Limited works across health and hygiene products, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, maternal and child nutrition, and other essential consumer categories. Supporting these operations requires employees to manage large volumes of data, documentation, communication, and operational updates across different departments and locations.
During the session, participants explored practical ways AI-assisted tools can improve everyday business activities. Applications included summarizing complex information, organizing operational data, preparing routine reports, drafting professional communication, supporting research, and improving coordination between teams.

The discussion also examined how AI can support strategic decision-making. By helping professionals locate relevant information, compare available options, and present findings more clearly, AI can make the analytical process more efficient. Final decisions, however, must remain with qualified employees who understand the organization, market, and communities being served.
Responsible use was an important part of the training. SMC Enterprise works with sensitive business, health-related, and consumer information. Employees must therefore protect confidential data, verify AI-generated content, follow internal policies, and avoid using unauthorized tools for restricted information.
The session emphasized that adopting AI for business is not about replacing established expertise. Its value comes from assisting employees, reducing avoidable administrative work, and creating more time for planning, problem-solving, customer understanding, and operational improvement.
The AI for Business session at SMC Enterprise Limited reflected the organization’s commitment to workforce development and practical digital transformation. Through customized corporate training, NetCom Learning Bangladesh helps organizations build responsible AI capabilities around their actual operations and business priorities.
