AI for Finance Training at bKash Limited

Financial services depend on speed, accuracy, security, and the ability to interpret large volumes of information. As digital payments continue to grow in Bangladesh, finance professionals also need practical skills to use artificial intelligence responsibly within their day-to-day work.

With this focus, bKash Limited partnered with NetCom Learning Bangladesh for an intensive training program on “AI for Finance” at b.Academy.

The session explored how AI can support financial professionals in areas such as predictive analysis, complex data synthesis, reporting, and fraud-risk assessment. Participants examined how intelligent tools can help identify patterns, organize information, and produce timely insights to support better-informed decisions.

Advanced prompting was another important part of the training. Through practical exercises, the bKash team learned how clear instructions, relevant context, and structured outputs can improve AI-assisted research, analysis, and financial reporting. These techniques can reduce repetitive work while allowing professionals to devote more attention to evaluation and strategic priorities.

The training was led by MD Imdadul Islam, Head of Training at NetCom Learning Bangladesh and an AI CERTs® Certified Trainer, together with Shetu Mohanto, AI Strategy Specialist. They shared practical perspectives on connecting financial expertise with emerging AI capabilities while keeping business relevance at the centre of the discussion.

The session also emphasized that AI in financial services must be approached with care. Protecting customer and transaction data, validating AI-generated results, managing bias and false positives, and maintaining appropriate human oversight are essential. Sensitive financial information should only be processed through approved systems that meet the organization’s security, governance, and regulatory requirements.

The engagement reflected bKash Limited’s continued investment in developing a workforce prepared for the changing digital financial landscape. By building practical AI literacy alongside sound financial judgment, teams can explore new efficiencies without compromising the trust and accountability on which digital payments depend.

Special appreciation goes to Shuria Akter Ethuna, Peyal Sarker, and Tarif Hasan Nayeem for their coordination and contribution to the program.
