Agent X Prize-Giving Ceremony at BRAC University

The Agent X Prize-Giving Ceremony was held at BRAC University on 12 October 2025, celebrating the creativity, innovation, and achievements of students who participated in the Agent X program.

The event began at 10:00 AM at the BRAC University auditorium with the National Anthem. Dr. Sadia Hamid Kazi, Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at BRAC University, delivered the opening speech and highlighted the importance of initiatives that encourage students to develop practical knowledge and explore opportunities in artificial intelligence.

MD Imdadul Islam, AI CERTs® Certified Trainer and Head of Product at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, presented an overview of the Agent X program and its structure. The session reflected how structured learning, practical challenges, and technology-focused initiatives can help students strengthen their creativity, problem-solving ability, and understanding of AI.

Dr. Dave Dowland, Registrar of BRAC University, spoke about the importance of strengthening connections between academia and industry. His remarks emphasized the value of giving students opportunities to gain practical exposure alongside their academic education.

The ceremony also welcomed Farzana Afrin Tisha, Azure SMB Lead at Microsoft Bangladesh, who appreciated the students for their innovative work and commitment to learning and applying AI.

Representing NetCom Learning Bangladesh, Abdur Rahman Mamun, Country Head, acknowledged the contribution of the participants, mentors, university representatives, and collaborating organizations. A commemorative crest was also presented as part of the event.

One of the major highlights of the ceremony was the prize distribution, where outstanding Agent X participants were recognized for their achievements. Dr. Dave Dowland, Dr. Sadia Hamid Kazi, Abdur Rahman Mamun, Farzana Afrin Tisha, and Ishan Bin Zillur Rahman, Senior Sales Manager at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, participated in recognizing the winners.

Laptops, tablets, smartwatches, drones, and other gifts were awarded to deserving students. Nazmul Hasan Nayon Khan, Senior Sales Specialist; Shuria Akter Ethuna, Junior Business Development Executive; and MD Imdadul Islam also presented awards, NetCom Kits, and certifications to students and members of the collaborating clubs.

The recognition celebrated not only the winners but also the creativity, dedication, and problem-solving abilities demonstrated throughout the Agent X journey.

Special appreciation goes to the Robotics Club of BRAC University (ROBU) and the BRAC University Business & Economics Forum for their collaboration and support throughout the competition.

The Agent X Prize-Giving Ceremony reflected the importance of creating stronger connections between academic learning, emerging technology, practical innovation, and industry exposure.
