Jahangirnagar University hosted an AI-focused seminar on 14 May 2025, bringing together students, educators, and professionals to explore how artificial intelligence is influencing industries, careers, and innovation.

The seminar discussed the growing role of AI across different sectors and highlighted how emerging technologies are creating new opportunities for students and future professionals.

Abdur Rahman Mamun, Head of Partnerships at NetCom Learning Bangladesh; MD Imdadul Islam, Sr. Business Development Manager; and Mashahed Hassan Simanta, Learning Consultant, shared insights on AI, career development, innovation, and practical industry applications.

The session explored how AI is being applied across areas such as IT, business, fashion, and other professional fields. Participants also discussed how AI skills, adaptability, creativity, and practical technology knowledge can support future career development.

A key highlight of the event was the introduction of Agent X, an AI prompting competition presented by NetCom Learning Bangladesh, powered by Microsoft, and conducted in partnership with AI CERTs™.

The seminar created an opportunity for students to connect academic learning with emerging technology trends and gain greater awareness of the skills becoming increasingly relevant in AI-enabled workplaces.
