On 28 June 2025, Mondol Group hosted a specialized session titled “AI for Business – Prompt Engineering” at its corporate office in Le Méridien Dhaka. The initiative focused on helping professionals understand how artificial intelligence and effective prompting techniques can support everyday business activities and decision-making.

Mondol Group is a prominent textile and garment manufacturing organization in Bangladesh, operating across multiple areas of the apparel value chain and serving international markets. As industries continue to adopt digital technologies, building practical AI capabilities can help professionals work more efficiently and adapt to evolving business requirements.

The session introduced participants to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and explored how AI can be applied across different business functions. Discussions also focused on prompt engineering and how clear, structured instructions can improve the relevance and usefulness of AI-generated responses.

Participants explored practical examples of using AI to support research, communication, information organization, initial content preparation, workflow improvement, and other information-intensive business activities. Real-world examples also helped demonstrate how organizations can identify suitable AI use cases based on specific workplace needs.

Mashahed Hassan Simanta, Trainer at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, facilitated the session and guided participants through practical approaches to working with AI and developing more effective prompts.

An important takeaway from the session was that effective AI usage requires both technical understanding and human judgment. AI-generated information should be reviewed and verified before being applied to important business decisions, while organizational policies and data confidentiality should remain central to professional AI adoption.
