In a fast-moving digital business, operational excellence depends on more than technology platforms. It also requires capable teams, efficient internal processes, and the ability to make informed decisions as business needs evolve.

With this focus, NetCom Learning Bangladesh recently conducted a specialized session on “AI for Business Excellence” for professionals at Daraz Bangladesh. The training took place at the Daraz headquarters in Asfia Tower.

The session brought together professionals from HR and Administration, including team members with different levels of responsibility. This created an opportunity to explore how artificial intelligence can support both routine workplace activities and broader operational planning.

Participants examined practical applications of AI in document preparation, policy summarization, internal communication, meeting documentation, employee-query management, reporting, data organization, and workflow analysis. These tools can help reduce time spent on repetitive administrative work while allowing professionals to concentrate on employee support and organizational priorities.

Advanced prompting and workflow optimization were important parts of the training. Participants learned how clear instructions, suitable context, and defined output formats can improve AI-assisted results. They also explored how to identify appropriate tasks for automation and where human review must remain part of the process.

The session was led by MD Imdadul Islam, Head of Training at NetCom Learning Bangladesh and an AI CERTs® Certified Trainer. Through workplace-focused examples, he demonstrated how AI capabilities can be connected with practical HR and administrative requirements rather than treated as standalone technical tools.

Responsible use was emphasized throughout the discussion. Employee records, performance information, compensation details, recruitment data, and confidential organizational documents should not be entered into public or unauthorized AI systems. AI-generated recommendations must also be reviewed for accuracy, fairness, bias, and alignment with company policies before they influence decisions involving people.

The participation of professionals from across different levels reflected Daraz Bangladesh’s interest in building shared AI awareness within its workplace. When employees understand both the possibilities and limitations of these tools, organizations are better positioned to introduce automation in a practical and accountable way.
