From attracting the right talent to supporting employee development and maintaining effective workplace processes, HR teams help create the environment in which scientific, manufacturing, and commercial professionals can perform at their best.

With this focus on workforce capability, the HR team at Beximco Pharmaceuticals PLC participated in Batch 1 of an intensive “AI for Business Excellence” training program conducted by NetCom Learning Bangladesh.

The session explored how artificial intelligence can support different areas of human resource management. Participants examined practical applications for organizing workforce information, preparing reports, summarizing policies, creating learning materials, and improving internal communication.

The training also demonstrated how generative AI can assist with drafting job descriptions, structuring interview questions, reviewing employee feedback, planning development initiatives, and reducing the time required for repetitive administrative work. These applications can help HR professionals dedicate more attention to employee engagement, talent development, and strategic workforce planning.

Responsible use remained an essential part of the discussion. AI should support—not independently determine—decisions involving recruitment, performance, or employees. Outputs must be reviewed for accuracy, privacy, fairness, organizational policy, and potential bias before they are used.

Through this first batch, Beximco Pharma’s HR professionals strengthened their understanding of how AI can complement human expertise and improve everyday productivity. The program represents a practical step toward developing more efficient, informed, and people-focused HR operations.
