AI for Future Leaders Seminar at University of Dhaka
The “AI for Future Leaders” seminar was held at the University of Dhaka on 7 May 2025, bringing together students, industry professionals, and technology enthusiasts to explore how artificial intelligence is influencing careers, innovation, and future-ready skill development.
The event was organized with support from Dhaka University Career Club (DUCC), whose efforts helped create an interactive environment for students to engage with emerging AI trends and practical career insights.
Abdur Rahman Mamun, Head of Partnerships at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, discussed the evolving role of AI in professional growth and career development. MD Imdadul Islam, Sr. Business Development Manager at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, shared insights on how AI tools can support innovation and business solutions.

Mashahed Hassan Simanta, Mentor at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, highlighted the skills students may need to remain competitive in an AI-driven future. Sadman Araf, Data Scientist at Grameenphone, also shared practical examples of AI applications across sectors such as IT and telecommunications.
The seminar covered AI’s influence on career development, innovation, future professions, real-world applications across industries, and strategies for preparing for emerging AI-related career opportunities.
A special highlight of the session was the introduction of Agent X, an AI prompting competition presented by NetCom Learning Bangladesh, powered by Microsoft, and conducted in collaboration with AI CERTs™.
The event provided students with an opportunity to connect academic learning with real-world technology trends and gain greater awareness of the skills becoming increasingly relevant across AI-enabled industries.
