World University of Bangladesh hosted the AI for Future Leaders seminar on 29 May 2025, creating an opportunity for students to explore how artificial intelligence is influencing industries, career development, and the future of work.
The seminar focused on helping students understand the growing role of AI in professional environments and how emerging technologies are creating new opportunities across different sectors.
Abdur Rahman Mamun, Head of Partnerships at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, shared insights on how AI is reshaping industries and influencing career growth. MD Imdadul Islam, Learning Consultant at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, discussed the role of AI in driving innovation and creating new professional opportunities.
The session explored several practical areas, including the impact of AI on career paths, the relationship between AI and creativity, real-world applications across industries, and the skills students may need to develop for an increasingly AI-powered workplace.

An important message of the seminar was that future professionals will need more than technical awareness. Adaptability, problem-solving, critical thinking, digital fluency, and the ability to work effectively with AI tools will become increasingly valuable across many career paths.
Md. Rafiqul Islam played an important role in organizing and facilitating the seminar at the World University of Bangladesh campus.
We sincerely appreciate the students, faculty members, speakers, and organizers who contributed to the success of the session.
