The ready-made garment industry is becoming increasingly data-driven. Production planning, quality management, sourcing, inventory, documentation, and buyer communication all require professionals to process information quickly while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

To support these evolving workplace needs, NetCom Learning Bangladesh conducted a specialized session on “AI for RMG Professionals” at the Sterling Styles Ltd. facility in Ashulia.

Sterling Styles manufactures denimwear and casual bottom-wear products within a technology-focused production environment. The session explored how artificial intelligence can complement this industry expertise and support more efficient workflows across different business functions.

Participants examined potential AI applications in supply chain planning, quality monitoring, operational reporting, information analysis, and workplace communication. They also explored how generative AI can help summarize documents, prepare structured reports, organize production-related information, and reduce time spent on repetitive administrative tasks.

The session was led by Subject Matter Expert Khan Tanvir, an AI CERTs® Certified Trainer. Through practical examples and prompting exercises, he demonstrated how clear instructions, relevant context, and defined output formats can improve the usefulness of AI-generated responses for RMG professionals.

The training emphasized that AI-generated insights must be validated against reliable production data and reviewed by experienced professionals. Confidential buyer, employee, and organizational information must remain protected, while decisions involving quality, compliance, and manufacturing should continue to rely on appropriate human oversight.

The session reflected how responsible technology adoption can support productivity, adaptability, and continuous improvement within Bangladesh’s RMG sector.
