NetCom Learning Bangladesh recently conducted a professional training program titled “Learning Use of AI Technology to Improve Professional Capacity,” focusing on how artificial intelligence can support modern workplace responsibilities and professional development.

The session was organized by the Dhaka Regional Chapter Sub-Committee (DRC) of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB), a professional body focused on developing governance and corporate professionals through structured learning and continuous professional development.

The training introduced participants to the foundational concepts of artificial intelligence and explored how AI tools can be applied in professional environments. The discussion focused on practical ways AI can support research, documentation, communication, information organization, and other knowledge-intensive tasks.

Participants also explored global practices and relevant case studies to better understand how AI is being adopted across different professional settings. The session emphasized the importance of selecting suitable AI applications based on specific workplace needs rather than adopting technology without a clear purpose.

MD Imdadul Islam, Senior Mentor at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, and Fahmidul Alam, Learning Consultant at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, facilitated the program and shared practical insights on responsible and effective AI usage.

An important takeaway from the session was the need to combine AI capabilities with professional judgment. AI-generated information should be reviewed and verified before being used in important business, governance, or corporate decisions. Data confidentiality, organizational policies, and responsible use should also remain central to AI adoption.

The initiative reflects the growing importance of digital fluency and AI awareness for governance, corporate, and administrative professionals. Developing these capabilities can help professionals adapt to evolving workplace expectations while maintaining quality, accountability, and professional standards.
