Artificial intelligence is becoming an important part of how young people learn, create, and solve problems. Introducing these technologies at an early stage can help learners build confidence, curiosity, and the critical thinking needed to use AI responsibly.

Young participants gathered at the Rajshahi Range DIG Office for the “AI for Future Leaders” session and the prize-giving ceremony of the Agent X Junior AI Prompting Competition. The event was held at Rajshahi Police Lines and combined practical AI learning with recognition for the competition’s young achievers.

The technical session introduced participants to the fundamentals of generative AI and effective prompting. Rather than treating prompting as a collection of shortcuts, the discussion presented it as a structured communication skill: defining a clear objective, providing useful context, setting appropriate constraints, and reviewing the resulting output carefully.

Fahmidul Alam, Subject Matter Expert and AI CERTs® Certified Trainer, led the session. Through accessible explanations and practical examples, he helped the junior learners understand how thoughtful instructions can improve AI-assisted research, ideation, writing, and problem-solving.

Responsible use was also an important part of the learning experience. Young users need to understand that AI-generated information can be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. They should protect personal information, verify important claims, respect intellectual property, and seek guidance from teachers or guardians when using AI for educational purposes.

The program then moved from learning to recognition as awards were presented to the winners of the Agent X Junior AI Prompting Competition. Ishaan Bin Zillur Rahman, Senior Manager – Sales, and Fahmidul Alam presented the awards and celebrated the effort, creativity, and learning demonstrated by the participants.

The initiative was supported through the coordination of Abdullah Al Noman from Operations and the technical guidance of Fahmidul Alam as the program’s point of contact. Their contributions helped connect the educational session with the competition and award ceremony.

When AI awareness begins with curiosity, responsibility, and sound guidance, young people are better prepared to participate thoughtfully in the technologies shaping their future.
